The Sliding Gallery is a new feature included in the Digital Magazine theme and we plan to include it in our future commercial themes.

This feature will help you display your article image gallery with a fancy look and using a small page area.

Usage:

It is similar to built-in wordpress image gallery. Upload your images to media gallery then put the shortcode into the post.

Shortcode: [slidegallery]

It can have a parameter that let’s you choose how many images to display per slide. The default value is 6.

Example usage with 9 images per slide: [slidegallery show=9]

The Fashionable Theme has the jQuery lightBox plugin by Leandro Vieira built in. To open a post image in a lightbox the image must have set the “lightbox” CSS class.

It is very simple to add a class to an image in WordPress. Just follow the steps bellow:

Go to editor and click on the “Edit image” icon > Select Advanced Setting Tab > Append “lightbox” to CSS class input > Click Update > Save your post > That’s it!
